Abstract

Cyberbullying is the activity of uploading text, dangerous or threatening images via the internet or other digital communication media. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of emotional maturity on the tendency of behavior cyberbullying in students. The research population was 251,902 students, using purposive sampling technique with a sample of 100 students. The data collection instrument used the emotional maturity scale and the cyberbullying behavior
tendencies scale with the Likert scale model. Data analysis used linear regression with the help of SPSS for windows v24 software. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with sig. 0.000 <0.05, indicating that emotional maturity significantly affects the tendency of behavior cyberbullying with a negative relationship direction. The higher the emotional maturity, the lower the tendency of behavior cyberbullying and conversely the lower the emotional maturity, the higher the tendency of
behavior cyberbullying. Obtained R Square between emotional maturity with a tendency to behavior cyberbullying of 43.4% and the remaining 56.6% is influenced by other factors.
