Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of using mobile legends online games on social interactions in late adolescents in Malang City. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data collection method used a questionnaire with measuring instruments used, namely the scale of online game use and the scale of social interaction. The population in this study were all teenagers who used mobile legends online games in Malang City, with a sample of 100 late adolescents aged 18-21 years who were playing mobile legends online games in Malang City. The sampling technique used non probability sampling method with incidental / accidental sampling technique to determine the research sample. Data analysis using simple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing through simple linear regression analysis showed significant results of 0.001 <0.05, which means that there is a significant influence between the use of mobile legends online games on social interaction in late adolescents in Malang City. The statistical results also show the contribution of the influence of the use of mobile legends online games on social interaction is 10.7%, the rest is influenced by other factors
