Abstract

Tourism is a sexy land to continue to be explored for the sake of coffers of regional income and state foreign exchange. Various breakthroughs were made, both by the central and regional governments in order to stimulate tourism, which in recent years has been increasingly massive. In Malang Regency, for example, the last few years have also been aggressively working on the tourism sector. The development of the tourism sector has started to roll, one of the pilot areas is Pujon Kidul Tourism Village with its educational tours. Indirectly, the tourism sector has a large share of the Regional Original Income (PAD). Cafe Sawah is an icon of Pujon Kidul Tourism Village. Since its existence, Pujon Kidul Tourism Village has become increasingly popular in the eyes of tourism activists. Cafe Sawah was built for a destination that can accelerate the development of the village economy. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the efforts to develop tourism in Malang Regency, especially at Café Sawah, Pujon Kidu Village. The purpose of this research is to contribute ideas and theories about tourism development efforts. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The techniques used in data collection are interviews, observation, and documents. The techniques used in data analysis are data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research location chosen is according to the title of the thesis, namely "Malang Regency Tourism Development Effort (Case Study in Café Sawah, Pujon Kidul Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency Based on Malang Regency Regional Regulation Number 10 of 2013 concerning Tourism Administration)". The results of this study indicate that the development efforts in the rice field café of Pujon Kidul Village have been going well but there are still problems that occur in its implementation.
