Abstract
The government as a provider of public services needed by the community must be responsible and continue to strive to provide the best service for improving the quality of public services. On the other hand, community satisfaction is a measure of the success of public services provided by public service providers. Public service basically involves a very broad aspect of life. In state life, the government has the function of providing various public services needed by the community, starting from services in the form of regulations or in the form of other services in order to meet community needs in the fields of education, health, and so on. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of the quality of public services in the Environmental Service of Malang Regency. The purpose of this research is to contribute ideas and theories about the implementation of quality public services through programs and community participation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The techniques used in data collection are interviews, observation, and documents. The technique used in data analysis is using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research location chosen is according to the title of the thesis, namely: "Implementation of Public Service Quality in the Environmental Service Office of Malang Regency" (Case Study in the Environmental Service Office of Malang Regency based on Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2012 concerning Implementation of Public Services in Malang Regency). The results of the research show that the implementation of public service quality in the Environmental Service of Malang Regency has been going well, but there are still some problems that occur in the implementation.
