Abstract

The development of information and communication technology from time to time is very rapid, one of which is social media users. However, the current development of information and communication technology has had positive and negative impacts. The development of social media, some people use it to commit crimes. Crimes that can be caused by social media include kidnapping, fraud, cyberbully, extortion and others. Knowledge of digital forensics is a way to catch perpetrators of digital crimes that will be used as evidence in court. This research will raise digital crime evidence on the Instagram and Tiktok applications using forensics. In this study the forensic tools that will be used are the Autopsy and Guymager tools with the help of the Forensic Static method. Forensic Statics has a good workflow for extracting digital forensic data. The results of the research will be obtained in the form of photos of the perpetrators of crimes.
