Abstract

Limited information about start-up coffee shops in Malang city is the goal to provide complete information to potential customers. Malang City is the second largest city in East Java, considering that Malang City is a city of education where there are many schools and campuses. It can be said that Malang City is a student center area. With the emergence of so many start-up coffee shops today, one way to complete a collection of start-up coffee shops without having to access other platforms, a special platform is needed that contains a collection of start-up coffee shops to make it easier for potential customers to enjoy the products being marketed. In this study, researchers used the Design thinking approach method to collect the data needed to design a business idea to obtain a solution. This design thinking research method is very important in creating new solutions and innovations that can better answer user needs. By using this approach, researchers can find fundamental problems in product development and find the best solution that meets user needs effectively. In this case, Figma is used as a tool to design the appearance of applications and web with an attractive, modern, and minimalist user interface. In this research, a prototype design of Coffee Shop application design was produced. Thus, this design provides significant added value to the Coffee Shop business and a better user experience.
