Abstract

The Kasepuhan Sinar Resmi settlement is one of the indigenous community settlements with cultural characteristics and attractive natural landscape beauty as an educational destination. The customs and rules of karuhun are still carried out by the people to this day. Preserving cultural heritage is very important to maintain the continuity of cultural traditions, both tangible and intangible, so that they can be passed on to future generations. The government is starting to make conservation efforts, but it is still not evenly distributed and often experiences conflict with local communities due to differences in perception. This research aims to identify the physical and sociocultural characteristics of the Kasepuhan Sinar Resmi settlement using descriptive research methods, and the results obtained show that the characteristics of the Kasepuhan Sinar Resmi settlement are influenced by consistency in carrying out the tatali paranti karuhun. Policy management from the government and the community is needed to maintain the sustainability of the Kasepuhan Sinar Resmi settlement as a cultural heritage
