Abstract

This study aims to analyze community participation in the Development Planning Deliberation (musrenbang) in Dalisodo Village, Wagir District, as well as the factors that influence community participation in the musrenbang. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a focuson the form of participation in musrenbang and the supporting and inhibiting factors of participation. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation, and data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman and Saldana. The results showed that community participation in musrenbang in Dalisodo Village, Wagir District, has been going well, but there are still several obstacles that hinder active community participation at the preparation, implementation and utilization stages, as well as related to lack of presence and understanding. The supporting factor lies in the community's own self-awareness, while the obstacles faced in active community participation are the low quality of education, lack of human resources, busy work and low level of communication. The conclusion of this study is that community participation in musrenbang has not run well and is still less active, and efforts are needed to motivate or encourage the community to actively participate in every development planning deliberative meeting in the village.
