Abstract

The intersection of Jl. Ciliwung - Jl. Letnan Jenderal Sunandar Priyo Sudarmo - Jl. Bauksit is one of the signalized intersections in the city of Malang. The environment around the intersection of Jl. Ciliwung - Jl. Letnan Jenderal Sunandar Priyo Sudarmo Jl. Bauksit is a commercial area, because around the intersection there are shops and restaurants that have the potential to cause congestion. Another thing that causes congestion is the behavior of vehicle users who often run red lights which results in delays and queues in the intersection area. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the intersection because it has the potential to cause congestion if not handled technically. Based on this, research is needed in the form of side obstacles and traffic performance on the road. This study uses the 2014 road capacity guidelines method (PKJI2014). Based on the research, the traffic volume of vehicles during the afternoon rush hour on Monday, January 29, 2024 at the highest peak traffic hour on Monday (16.00-17.00), for the level of service of Ciliwung Road and Lieutenant General Sunandar Priyo Sudarmo Road (E), while for Bauksit Road (B).
