Abstract

In order to determine actual or actual quantities, stock taking is a type of operation that involves recounting inventory of products. To exercise control, stock taking is needed so that businesses can track and know the assets they own. The current defect is that the stock category and shelf number of goods are not displayed on the KKSO (Stock Taking Worksheet) form, thus hindering entry activities and product appearance when stock taking is carried out. Because of this, businesses stopped taking stock regularly. In addition, if there are many items reported, staffing errors are more likely to occur. Based on the context of the problem, a software program was developed to record stock taking using Barcode technology. This software is made for Android-based mobile devices because apart from being a cellphone, this device also has the latest features, namely internet connection and a camera so that it can be used as a barcode reader that can be connected to a database. System design for stock taking software is made using Kodular. User-friendly systems analytics can speed up and simplify existing data processing for consumers and businesses.
