Abstract

The object in this study was about motivation (X) and visiting decision (Y) with the analysis unit of tourists who are visiting Menganti Beach Kabupaten Kebumen. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive. The sample in this study was 110 respondents with sampling techniques accidental sampling. Data analysis techniques using validity tests, reliability, multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing through T-Test and F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that a motivation influence visiting decision in Menganti Beach is significant with the regression value as follows Yi = 4.152+ 0.093X1 + 0.427 X2 + 0.178 X3. In more detail the research data shows: (1) The result of the frequency of variable data dissemination of motivation and visiting decision is in good category, (2) The value of physical motivation influence against a significant visit decision means that if Physical motivation increased, there will be an increase in visiting decision Menganti Beach Kabupaten Kebumen. (3) Increased social motivation is followed by increased visits to Menganti Beach significantly (4) Fantasy motivation significantly affect the visiting decision means increased motivation value fantasy will be followed by an increase in the value of visits to Menganti Beach Kabupaten Kebumen.
