Abstract

PT Berdikari Meubel Nusantara is a company, the main product produced is beach chair strandkorb. In carrying out their work, operators still often complain of discomfort while working such as complaints of pain in certain body parts, this is evidenced by the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire, It is known that the
staining finishing department has a percentage of rather painful complaints of 60% on the back, 48% on the waist and 52%. This study uses the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method to measure the overall posture of the workers' body parts from the neck, back of the arms, wrists and legs which aims to determine the level of risk of workstations in the staining finishing department. From the results of REBA processing, the staining workstation and the soft sanding workstation have the highest score of 7 on the staining workstation and a score of 5 on the soft sanding workstation, this indicates a medium risk level which means that the workstation needs to be repaired to avoid possible risk musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs)
