Abstract

The objectives of this study are as follows: (1) the effect of profitability variables on financial distress in Tourism Sub-Sector Services Companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2022, (2) the effect of leverage variables on financial distress in Tourism Sub-Sector Services Companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2022, (3) the effect of company size variables on financial distress in Tourism Sub-Sector Services Companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2022, and (4) the effect of profitability variables on financial distress in Tourism Sub-Sector Services Companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2022. This research is classified as quantitative research, with research instruments in the form of financial statements obtained from the IDX for 2019-2022. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data using IBM SPSS Statistic 25. Based on the results of this study, profitability and leverage have an effect on financial distress, but company size has no effect. Profitability, leverage, and company size all have an impact on financial distress.
