Abstract

In the village of Sriti, Sawoo District, Ponorogo Regency, elephant ginger is a spice plant developed by several farmers. In developing elephant ginger, farmers experience
difficulties in obtaining seeds and marketing their crops, this is due to the lack of capital owned by farmers and also the farmers' lack of knowledge of market information. This situation made the farmers establish a partnership with PT Enha which is engaged in the export of elephant ginger. From these problems the researcher wants to examine how the partnership pattern of elephant ginger farmers and PT Enha
is and how successful this partnership pattern is. This research was conducted from September 2022 to October 2022. The research location was chosen purposively
(purposive), namely the research object was chosen deliberately with certain considerations. The sampling technique in this study was carried out using the simple
random sampling method consisting of 20 elephant ginger farmers and two key informants from PT Enha, namely the owner of the company and agricultural extension
workers (PPL). The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive and analytic method. From the results of the study, it was found that the partnership pattern carried out by elephant ginger farmers and PT Enha was an agribusiness operational cooperation (KOA) partnership pattern and this study also calculated the profit ratio of farmers which had increased from 0.58 before partnering to 1.28 after partnering.
