Abstract

The era of media technology is challenge for educational institutions in learning habits.
Central Java has the third largest number of madrasas in Indonesia, 11,212 madrasas. Important
to know implementation and evaluation of academic supervision. The problem is that no awareness
of measuring the intensity, quality, degree of relevance associated with performance of madrasah
teachers in communication technology era. Mixed method, descriptions sourced from five
informantsschool principals, quantitative data from 190 madrasas teachers. Data from interviews,
questionnaires and documentation. Analysis used Milles and Huberman pattern. The results of
measuring intensity, quality and degree relevance of education supervision are average category. This
is able to improve performance of madrasah teachers in Central Java. The answer of supervision’s
problem, teacher supports online supervision with preferences to CCTV, virtual and fingerprints.
This research has implications in forming awareness of the importance of educational supervision
and alternative measurement supervision base on communication technology
