Abstract

Shortly before the Second World War business and industrial corporation in Europe, the United States of America and Japan have gone international, thereby not only expanding their markets and getting more direct control over their investments and business oversea, but also intensifying their technical, management, economic and financial influences upon the markets and economic environment of their host countries.1)

The introduction of the use of computers in the internet and other electronic devices, and system anabling communications from one side of the world to another in just a few second, nor only increased the bulk of international, so that today the international market is not any more seen as many market places scattered around the world , each with its own characteristics of commodities, manufactured goods and service, but has become more and global market place, where transnational corporations compete to sell their products and services in more or less the same fashion and manne, as they have been doing in the country of their home base.

Traveling from one country to another, one can find MC. Donald’s hamburgers and Kentucky Fried Chickens or Planet Hollywood – or telephone services almost exactly as they are in the USA, Europe or else where in the world.

Therefore business and trade activities, both domestically and certainly international trade are nor any more regulated by national or internal laws and regulations only, but are at the same time (and perhaps even more) regulated (and thus influenced) by international agreements, and foreign laws and regulations, especially by the laws of the countries, which in some way or other have a connecting factor with the business activities of the Indonesian company.
