Abstract

This article attempts to reveal that the success and achievement of a national economy does not necessarily relie on merely democracy that most people believed in so far. Some research done by World Bank and others proved that some countries have successfully achieved a point where national welfare is satisfactorily sufficient under a regime of dictatorship, others,however, show that welfare can be attained under different regime 0f government, i.e. democracy. What is important is that a country has stabilized political conditions and good leadership, inspite of the regime the government a certain country is ruled. Democracy achievement required in a welfare state and yet not the particular kind of regime that is needed but political stabilization and abiding and compliance to laws.
