Abstract

A well-structured project scheduling will provide an on time project completion, and desired outcomes. Yet, theres is some underestimated factors which often become obstacles in completion of a project, so its schedule become delayed. Moreover, it’s important to create a speed-up project scheduling daft, in order to gain a faster project completion. The objectives of this research is to find details of project scheduling which has data limitation on it using a Simplex method, calculate duration of project completion delay, and create a speed-up project scheduling draft. The data limitation on the project scheduling of the Independent Power Producer (IPP) coal electrical steam power plant (PLTU) projects in Kepulauan Riau Province can be solved with a calculation using simplex method. The results of the calculation then used in calculation of delay durations which on each project. The Critical Path Method (CPM) used to create a speed-up project scheduling draft. Based on the a speed-up project scheduling draft that created, the IPP power plant project in Tembilahan can be completed more quickly, its estimated between 1,2 months to 12.2 months. As for the IPP power plant project in Rengat can be completed between 3,3 months to 17,2 months.
