      "abstract": "One of the main foundations of national development is rural infrastructure development. Villages are an important component of the nation and play a crucial role in its growth. The majority of Indonesians live in rural areas, which are the backbone of the country's social and economic structure. Rural infrastructure development aims to improve human welfare, alleviate poverty, and enhance the quality of life in rural communities. The development of physical infrastructure and facilities such as roads, bridges, irrigation systems, electricity, telecommunications, as well as health and education facilities is referred to as rural infrastructure development. Infrastructure, facilities, and improvements in health and education are crucial for rural development.  \r\nDevelopment in rural areas typically faces challenges because rural community eslack sufficient access to decision-making regarding development-related policies. Consequently, there are limitations in government coordination or relationship swith villages concerning development issues. To enhance rural development, people must participate and collaborate with communities to monitor progress, as the village government will do. Village governments must oversee development in villages. If mistakes occur, oversight must be meticulous to rectify and evaluate toprevent recurrence. One example is Wonoagung Village, which must be monitored in the road infrastructure development process.  \r\nThe objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of road infrastructure development in Wonoagung Village and to analyze the obstacles faced by the head of Wonoagung Village in implementing road infrastructure development. There search method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach and data analysis technique based on interviews with the Village Head, Village Secretary, and Planning Officer. This research is located in Wonoagung Village, Tirtoyudo Subdistrict, Malang Regency. The results of this research explain that road infrastructure development is key to improving the welfare of the community in Wonoagung Village. With good cooperation and coordination between the village government and the community, village road development can proceed smoothly and provide optimal benefits to the community. The discussion in this research isrelated to road infrastructure development concerning planning mechanism indicators, implementation mechanisms, procedures, budget support, and coordination systems.",
